Music & Media Ministry

The Music and Media Ministry exsist for one purpose, To glorify God. We have decided not to approach worship as a way to appeal to stylistic preferences, contemporary or traditional, but to create an atmosphere where Christ is lifted up. God has gifted us with talents that should be used for His glory and to make an impact on people's lives. If you have been gifted with the skills of music, creative arts, or media we hope you will take a moment and read the information and discover the opportunities to serve in the Turning Point Music Ministry.

Adult Choir

Worship at Turning Point is always centered around Christ. The Adult Choir is excited every Sunday Morning to lead our church into Worship through the gift of singing. The Choir is made up of adults 17 & up.

The Adult Choir Rehearses weekly from 7:45 - 9:00 every Wednesday afternoon. The Choir has the opportunity every year to participate in seasonal productions and concerts. If you have the gift of singing and would like to participate, the first step is to come to rehearsal in the Music Suite located in the back of the church building. All we ask is that you have a love for singing and a heart to Worship.

Orchestra

The Orchestra is an opportunity for anyone who has the talent of playing an instrument to serve in the Music Ministry. Orchestra members are ages 16 & up with at least 2 years of experience on the instrument. The Orchestra accompanies the choir on Sunday Morning and Evening Services in leading in congregational worship.

If you have ever played an instrument and want to just dust it off and start playing again then the Orchestra is the perfect place for you. Come join us in the Sanctuary every Sunday Evening from 7:30 to 8:30.

Student Choir

The Student Choir is a fun, energetic, and exciting group. The groups new STOMP routine has given the students an attractive way to do more "street evangelism". The Student Choir is made up of Middle school and High School students, from 6th to 12th grade. Every year the students go on a missions tour. The choir performs their routines and has the opportunity to sing in churches all over the country as well as other venues where they can share the gospel. The Student Choir meets on Sunday's from 4:30PM - 5:30PM

Children's Choir 1st - 5th Grade

The Children's Choir gives our children the opportunity to worship Christ through music. Through our new children's choir curriculum and productions, our children learn important musical and spiritual skills. The Children's Choir is for 1st graders through 5th graders. Rehearsals are from 6-7PM in the Music Suite every Sunday Evening.

4 & 5 year old Choir

The 4 & 5 year old choir has a great time of singing praises to the Lord. Every child that begins in this choir will learn important musical and spiritual skills to set them up for success once they graduate to the Children's choir. This group participates with the Children's choir in the productions each year, and has opportunites to perform in Sunday Services. Rehearsals are from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the fellowship hall every Sunday Evening.
