Worship Ministry
A HEART OF WORSHIP
Worship is the act of expressing reverence and adoration for our Savior. Worship is an attitude that we carry with us daily. The act of worship is a direct reflection of our attitude toward our Savior. There are many ways to worship. One area that we have the amazing privilege to worship through is music. Exodus 15:2 says, “The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my Salvation. This is my God and I will praise Him.” Our worship ministry exists for the sole purpose of using our talents and gifts to honor the Lord. We surrender all we are to Him as we humbly come before his throne daily and we seek to Praise His name corporately each week as we lead the bride of Christ.
Ways to Serve
CHOIR
This team of vocalists consists of 18 year old and up from all walks of life and levels of experience who come together for a common purpose of worshipping our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through music. The Worship Choir leads every Sunday morning at 10:30. Rehearsals take place every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm.
ORCHESTRA
This team includes musician’s high school age and up who have a desire to use the skills and talents that God has given them to worship and praise Him. These individuals come from all walks of life and are bound by a common purpose to proclaim the good news of Jesus through the playing of music. The Worship Orchestra plays every Sunday morning at 10:30, as well as during other special events and programs. Rehearsals take place every Wednesday 8:00 – 9:15pm, and Sunday mornings from 8:00-9:00.
MEDIA & TECH CREW
This team serves in many roles in our church life. From Sunday morning services to preparing recordings and videos, to lighting and audio, we have a place for you. If you have experience in the Media world, or even just an interest in learning, we would love to have you join our team.
CHOSEN GENERATION (Kids Choir)
This exciting ministry teaches children music, singing skills and equips them as future musicians of the church. We also desire to teach children how to prepare for worship, develop spiritual growth, teach them to serve the Lord with gladness and to be a true Worshipper. Ages include 4 yrs old – 5th grade. Chosen Generation meets Wednesday nights at 5:30
